Hi getting above message with device manager for this hardware TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653N ATA

Ive tried running the Microsoft trouble shooter but this doesn't help any ideas? Running Windows 8 thanks

Can you check the following registry key?:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

At that registry key, in the right window, is there, under "Name", either an UpperFilters or LowerFilters value?

If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under "Data"?

    There may be a different registry key involved.

    Can you check the following registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

    At that registry key, in the right window, is there, under "Name", either an UpperFilters or LowerFilters value?

    If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under "Data"?

    That UpperFilters value is normal so the issue may not be at that registry key.

    In the Device Manager can you double-click the device giving the Code 19 error  > Details, then choose "Class GuiD" from the drop-down menu under "Property".

    What is listed under "Value"?

    the closest I could find to class guid was "device class guid". I assume that's the same thing

    the value I am listing next is the listed value for all 4 "Portable Devices" that are giving me this error-the H,I,J, and K drives (various types of card reader drives).
