Hi rupeshnamdev,
First try removing the PxHelp20 value:
Double-click Lowerfilters and, under Value data, remove PxHelp20 > OK
Create a System Restore Point beforehand and restart the computer afterward.
If the problem still exists then try removing the GEARAspiWDM entry:
Double-click UpperFilters and, under Value data, remove GEARAspiWDM > OK
Create a system restore point beforehand and restart the computer after.
However, if you have an application that uses the GEARAspiWDM, such as iTunes, just install the latest version of Gear drivers (4.020.5) and make no change to the registry:

auggy, you are a life saver. Thanks so much. I was having this same issue after migrating to a slightly newer pc. I am pretty computer savvy, so was able to conquer most of the driver issues but this one had me stumped. Installed the Gear drivers and boom the
DVD drive works now.
Thanks again!
