Since resolving an issue with my ATI Video Driver recently, I have started getting the following errors, once a day, which cause my system to restart unexpectedly.
I believe this to be a driver issue, even though it looks like a hardware issue.
When it happens, I am usually watching TV on it via my XBOX Media Center Extender.
Event ID 20 - WHEA-Logger
A fatal hardware error has occurred.

My Computer is a Dell XPS 7100 with an AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor and ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series graphics adaptor.
All Dell diagnostics run cleanly and successfully.
Can anyone advise what to do to investigate further please?

one thing you guys need to know here ok is that when manufactures made there products that they DO NOT test each of there products which means your hardware might be going bad is why and you need to contact them to find out all the information and if you are still underneath the year manufacture warranty then you might have to that hardware back to them sorry to say this but this is all true !!! They do not test every products each one of them to make sure they work at all !!!
I'm having this issue with multiple clients. I fixed it back in December by disabling fast-boot as well but now its back and even more clients are having issues.
Sorry if you stated it before but what is your current hardware? Trying to find a common denominator.
Hay dude !! seriously don't you know that hardware can go defective any time of it life ha ?? !!! that is why it has a year warranty on hardware products right duh !!! The manufacture does not test every product b/c it costs alot of man hours to do so is why !!! do you not understand this yet in your life about products being defective and can at any time become this !!!

I checked and it looks just like the reboots that stopped a month ago.
First Kernel-Power Event ID 41 (critical), then after about 20 seconds WHEA-Logger Event ID 20.
Same stuff. Just funny why disabling fast boot kept this at bay for one month and then it started again.
But as I said I will have to wait for a few more days to see if the problem really has come back.
I wonder if a recent Windows update botched the thing again...
