Windows 8 x64 error (0xc000007b)

I had windows 7 for a bit until I had a issue and I couldn't use my installation media to fix it. I use windows 8 now and everything has been going fine, until I got the dolphin emulator (x64 version) and I get a .dll error. so I downloaded directX and it fixes it. then after thet I get error (0xc000007b) whenever I start up the emulator, ive heard that directx fixes it, but I cant reinstall from the programs and features menu. and when I use dx setup, it just says install failed and wants me to check the log. but theres no log. and then I restarted the computer. installed VC++. restarted. still have the error. then made sure my ATI software was active and working. it was, all drrivers and software up to date. but still that error. and ive just gotten so tired of it, all these software requirements and errors, make me start to hate windows. I tried to run the program in every possible comp. mode. still no luck. please help!

To help you suggest steps to resolve the issue, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

1.       What version Microsoft Visual C++ is installed on the computer?

2.       What is the exact error message about .dll error and when you install DirectX setup?

Mostly, these kinds of error can be caused by two factors:

·         Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries are missing.

·         Software problem.

**Method 1:**If the issue is caused by #1, you can reinstall the Runtime components of Visual C++ Libraries to resolve the problem.

**Method 2:**I suggest you take a Clean Boot check whether it is a software conflict issue. If not, it is still recommended to address the problem with manufacturer support.

Place the computer in a clean boot state and then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Thank you for your reply.

    I would suggest you to try following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    Update display adapter drivers and check. Please use these steps.

    a. Press Windows + R keys, type devmgmt.msc in run window and press Enter. 

    b. Expand "Display Adapters”, right click the device and select "Update Driver".

    c. Follow on-screen instructions.

    Method 2:

    Disable third-party security software and check.

    a. Click on your computer screen task Bar, next to system clock(system tray), you will see the third-party security software icon.

    b. Click on the third-party security software icon, you will see a pop up.

    c. Select the disable option for disabling security software.

    Important Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Replying to the original post, no. My issue does not lie with the Dolphin Emulator but with the standard system. I am unable to play games such as Far Cry 2 and LIMBO because of that error. I have deleted the previously-mentioned .dll's and have installed that particular DirectX but nothing has worked. I cannot even play simple games like REC Shutter (As shown below) yet I can play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Any other solutions I can try out other than the reinstallation of the Redistributables, altering the Compatibility Settings and the Clean Boot as neither of them have solved the problem.
