My computer is just a few weeks old and has been working fine until today. I have gotten the blue screen of death many times today and each time it's said it has something to do with System_Service_Exception. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the files I've noticed are needed after looking through the forums a bit:

Minidump files: http://sdrv.ms/WD992o

System File Information: http://sdrv.ms/RakUdp

    Hi Amiroof,

after installing win8 i've manually update my app's.

In the device manager are no troublessigns or anything thats need to be updated.

With malwarebytes i didn't anything special.

Beside that is there no spywware.

With the run system file checker there are no problems

The difficulty is when you don't have aan second pc of smartphone its allmost impossible to look for an answer cause windows ain't setting up of is turning blue within a few minutes.

After a while i found out how to get into the safe modi and started the windows setting to restore all Original settings.

I hope it will be ok after this hard restart.

On my other pc witch is a year older i've got no problemens like this.

    Thanks for your reply.

As SFC did not find any problems then it is not windows related problem. More likely third party software is causing problem.

Please consider unistalling programs that you think is casuing the problem or they do while using them.

From what I see in this thread and other websites more likely is Norton Anti-virus, Kasparasky Anti-virus and Mozilla Firefox .... instead try using alternatives ... or wait for their updates as the Windows 8 is new!

I don't think the re-installation would help. I personally recommend Avast Anti-virus but I am not sure if you won't have the same problem as I have windows 7! The Firefox is the browser that I persoanlly use as well. Well if you are facing this problem while using firexfox, then try using firefox in safe mode with networking see if the problem occures in safe mode too??? if it worked with no problem then the next stage would be Clean boot!

Checking your disc for errors can also help to solve this problem.

I have now had my laptop crash with 4 different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Chrome Canary, and IE 10). And it's only happened within the last week. Microsoft needs to own up to a problem with one of their updates the FIX IT. I'm tired of this. I'm very close to switching to a Mac since Microsoft doesn't seem to care about their customers.

goodmorning, the reinstalation had helpt. only i needed to instal all my apps again. the problem was with AVG en WIndows Defender. The don't run together very well. My gues is the windows defender don't like other programs so much;-)

Ow for your information, in safe mode the pc also runs dark after a while. It only takes long enough for closing the app wich is causing the error.

What i have done is startup in safe mode

directly open configuration close all optional apps.

then open one by one the apps again. (check by date when a program was installed and then go backwards)

so can you see wich app is causing problems.

    uninstal the program and delete.

I did a "Remove everything and reinstall Windows".

I deleted as much of the ASUS software (bloatware) as I could, and now the laptop is running without any problems.

Windows 8 doesn't work well with 3rd-party software.

I had no problems with Windows 8 besides the layout (But that's just a matter of getting used to it) until I installed the recent update. Since then, I have been getting this System_Service_Exception error randomly while surfing the internet, no matter which browser I use. Very annoying to say the least, as it is always when I am in the middle of something, or a conversation. Would removing the most recent update help, and if so, how would I go about doing this?
