My computer is just a few weeks old and has been working fine until today. I have gotten the blue screen of death many times today and each time it's said it has something to do with System_Service_Exception. If anyone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here are the files I've noticed are needed after looking through the forums a bit:

Minidump files: http://sdrv.ms/WD992o

System File Information: http://sdrv.ms/RakUdp

Windows for home | Previous Windows versions | Performance and system failures

My laptop is as like others only a few weeks old, just past its 21 day warranty and this BSOD problem is happening about 10 odd times a day, even when its sat there doing nothing!

Mine has only been doing it since the last update also, its disgusting that MS release this pile of rubbish to the public without proper testing, most of win8 is on a whole rubbish if you dont have a touch screen input, so why mass load it onto us all? Windows 7 was great after your mistake of Vista and now its like going back in a loop!

Ive now got to pay for a license for older software, for my brand new laptop because of constant errors, its doing my head in!

When WIndows 8 was first announced I was really excited. I'm now pulling out my hair on a daily basis. I bought a Packard Bell laptop 2 weeks ago and have been having problems with it since day 1. I've read all the advice here and have now decided to delete and turn off my updates. This seems to have worked although I'm just waiting for that next blue screen. The lack of help and attention from Windows to this problem is lamentable, they should be ashamed of themselves. Seriously thinking of returning this laptop for an Apple product.

I'm reinstalling all but update 2778344 to see what happens.  I can't run my Sims 3 after uninstalling that list.

Mine started around 16th of February. So it was probably the update.
