Windows 8 BSOD System Service Exception

I uninstalled the following updates and haven't got a BSOD ever since:

2805940

2799494

2790655

2778344

2795944

2803676

At least one of them must be the culprit

To uninstall, go to Control Panel -> Uninstall a program -> View installed updates -> Find the updates you want to uninstall, right click and choose Uninstall

Also, remember to disable automatic update so that they won't be automatically installed again. In other word, don't choose "Install updates automatically (recommended)". Choose one of the others, like "Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them"

You can also hide the updates that you have uninstalled away so that Windows don't try to install them again. Don't worry, you can always come back to them later by clicking "Restore hidden updates"

EDIT: you may want to try 2778344 first, it seems that's the culprit

I did what was recommended here and deleted 2778344 which is a security update and it stopped the problem I was having with service system exception  and my computer has been fine ever since. I suggest that any one with this issue might want to try this first it seems to be the best fix and my husband's work is also using this with their tech support to tell any customers having the same issues.

I know things change , still dont like the new system windows 8, my 4 year old laptop in windows 7 (far better reliable than 8) actually works like a new laptop compared to my new one, I had installed anything on the new laptop until 3 weeks after i bought the new laptop and the problems started day 2, ive been with pcs 13 years but i think ill be going back to MAC  as it seems to be problem after problem since i had to go to the dreadful windows 8 which might be fine  as a mobile phone or touch screen....get to grip windows when you think your doing good your annoying alot of faithful windows fans who are looking going else where....

I have been having the exact same issues and im sorry but you expect me to start my computer in safe mode then restart in into the regular windows every time I attempt to turn my computer on?!? this is a ridiculous request as I am a college student and that would greatly diminish the available time I have in my already short classes for note taking. I am sorry but this is clearly an issue on your behalf and not the manufacturer because the laptops vary greatly in make, I would appreciate a direct response not just copy and paste

I have the same issues, even after formatting my laptop to factory settings.  It's definitely a Windows 8 issue.  Typical of Microsoft to rush out their newest version of Windows before it's completed...
