How can I retrieve/reinstall programs from "Removed Apps" List?

Initial problems with installing MS Windows 8  prompted me to refresh my PC, as a result, most programs ended up in a "Removed Apps" List of which I cannot determine on how to reinstall, can anybody help me???

Programs such as HP Support Assistant, and Cyber Link Power DVD, and Windows Media Player are disabled although the troubleshooter states that the Windows Media Player is working properly. Again, please help.

Dear Microsoft,

I too have had to restart after a Microsoft update which seemed to throw my computer into turmoil. Had to restore which has left me with the same issue as everyone else. I have a list of the apps etc that have been removed after the restore.

Is there an easy way to reinstate what has been removed?

I have this problem with the additional problem that AOLOffice 2010 has gone as well.

every time I turn on my computer, it gives me a message that it is updating my computer and I have the icon on my screen which lists all the apps that have been removed because of updating my machine. I don't ask for any updates on my computer. I would like to get my "removed apps" back on to my computer. I understand I will lose all these apps after a certain time frame. Please help me. This is very frustrating.
