How can I retrieve/reinstall programs from "Removed Apps" List?

Initial problems with installing MS Windows 8  prompted me to refresh my PC, as a result, most programs ended up in a "Removed Apps" List of which I cannot determine on how to reinstall, can anybody help me???

Programs such as HP Support Assistant, and Cyber Link Power DVD, and Windows Media Player are disabled although the troubleshooter states that the Windows Media Player is working properly. Again, please help.

    Since I posted last I have learned sum  things by hit & miss. In the folder "Removed Apps", I could reinstall most the hilited 1s in the folder, also yr old downloaded s1 will be gone so I had to reinstall those 2.  Most of the reinstalls had updates versions waiting so it served a dual purpose!!!

     I have stumbled into the same probs as the above on a friends PC, ALL APPS were removed and ALSO HIS/HERS RESTORE POINT !! AND I know it was there as I did their last rinse and restore settings, and as I am NOT a WinBLOWS admirer it helps when you people do actually answer with a FULL response, not hints and suggestions
