How to fix "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"

I got an error message saying "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again". I have no ideas what it mean. Please help.

Go to

Ctrl X

Bring up the Windows powershell admin

Type in the following

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

Go back to windows store and it should re-work!!

    One of the basic issues these threads commonly have is there is no environment descript. I now got this ms-windows-store:PurgeCaches issue under Windows10 (after upgrade from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10) and found this cannot run. Then I found in the "C:" there is a "Windows.old" dir, there seem to have the related folders talked in this thread.

    Please always specify the OS version, how the issue jumped out, logs, screen captures.

    Sadly, this legendary method just can no longer help....
