How to fix "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"

I got an error message saying "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again". I have no ideas what it mean. Please help.

Go to

Ctrl X

Bring up the Windows powershell admin

Type in the following

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

Go back to windows store and it should re-work!!

    I was having the same error.

    Did you try this?

    1) Search for "Windows PowerShell" 2) Right-click on the PowerShell, then "Run as Administrator"3) Copy the following code and paste to the PowerShell window: Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}4)Press "Enter".
