How to fix "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again"

I got an error message saying "windows cannot find 'ms-windows-store:purge caches', make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again". I have no ideas what it mean. Please help.

Go to

Ctrl X

Bring up the Windows powershell admin

Type in the following

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

Go back to windows store and it should re-work!!

    This suggestion worked for me (Admin mode command prompt):

    Powershell Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    It runs thru all the packages doing the registration for each. It will take a few minutes depending on how many packages there are. Some will fail but when it completed, the store did now come up and also, apps now did start. I then re-tried the wsreset which previously failed but this time it completed, displaying the store.

    I am currently running the Win10 insider build 17063.
