Touch screen freeze/unresponsive LUMIA 920

I have been playing around with my phone last night taking pictures (the low light pictures are amazing)

and when I tried to unlock my phone this morning,

nothing of touch input seems to react,

even the buttons under the screen don't light up and do not respond on touch.

My power, volume and camera button all work.

Already did a few hard resets,

connected my phone to a computer hoping that would spark something

but nothing seems to work.

Anyone any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it

    Put the 920 in a plastic bag and seal it against moisture. Put it in the fridge (not freezer) for 30 minutes. Take it out when it is cooler, unwrap and do a hard reset (hold down "volume down" button and "power" button till screen turns off and buzzes).

    When phone turns on, screen will be responsive for a minute or less. As quickly as you can, turn off both the WIFI and Mobile+Sim data connection, and also Location.

    Screen will respond again.

    Worked for me as the radio was getting too hot.

    I had the same issue on the exam date, so frastrating. The body of the phone was hot but no respond. Finnaly I solved by pressed power+volume up+down all together for a long time. After system restarted, everything was fine.

    Hello.

    I just bought my Lumia 920 and started facing this issue after some MINUTES.

    Been reading all the answers over here and trying them, also testing the phone.

    Hard and Soft Resets doesn't seem to solve the problem instantly. But when I tried to do so (hard or soft) after some time it worked. And after using it some minutes the screen freezes again. Tried to do it with SIM and without it too. Same thing.

    When it is off the charger it takes longer to freezes. It makes me get closer to some hardware issued related to phone heating. Maybe after some heat the board shuts down something related to the touch screen.

    It could be a Software issue, but I'm pretty sure that this is HARDWARE related. This makes sense to people telling that turning WiFi off solves it. Turning it off reduces usage and heating too. Reducing number of softwares working background also reduces the processor usage, and heating...

    Sure, we just can't stop using all the phone's power just to avoid this issue. The solution is to send it back to Nokia and request a new phone. If this is a Lumia 920's known issue without solution, then, unfortunately it's time to change phone.

    Damn... I just bought it... Couldn't even use it...
