Touch screen freeze/unresponsive LUMIA 920

same thing, my device is less than a week old, was workign fine, and then the awekwarnedd started this morning: the device fell from bed to the ground this morning (before waking up), when I woke up, saw that everything is zoomed in (lock screen, home...etc), and the date.time was wrong. I reset and it went back to normal

while at work, this problem has occured and its still here, i was playing with it before so im not sure if something from these triggerred this dumb **bleep** issue

1- the phone was connected to the charger

2-  i changed the region (i live in jordan, and wanted to change region to US to get a better range of apps)

3- when i did the above, store wanted to update defauls apps that it didnt offer to update before changing region (nokia maps...etc)

4- i had skype running in the back ground, and whie it was updating these defaul apps, i received a skype call.... it all came crumbling down from there, the screen wouldnt respond

5- i switched back to the original region, deleted some apps (including skype).... restarted a few times, still wont help, the screen seem to work  some times, but mostly wont

6- i also felt that certain apps are triggering it, when i start the camera, its ok, i take pictures, ok. but then i run a more comlicated command (like cinemagraph) and it freezes it **bleep**

7- had no choice but to reset to factory defaults (thinking i should get rid of whatever application that is causing the problem).... to no avail, the problems persists

nothing seem to solve the problem, restarting, resetting to factory defaults, removing the sim.... all the same

anyone has any ideas...... anything???

I switched to Lumia with love, thinking I could finally get rid of the dumb itunes.... which Im starting to miss :(

I also face the same problem previosly . But i immidiate contact to my dealer shop where i have purchased this phone. He replace my cell phone with new one. I think you must do the same thing as i, if your cell phone is in Warranty.

I bought my Lumia 920 about 2 weeks ago and the unresponsiveness only occured during use while charging. Now it just won't respond to any touch screen action. I tried all the reset button combinations and it reset the phone itself but the touchscreen still wouldn't work. Starting to doubt my decision to support Nokias Lumia line. Lumia 800 had problems galore, Lumia 920 is starting to follow. If it is a software glitch I only hope a solution comes out in time before I make a switch. Love this phone.

I was following this 5s suggestion and may have accidentally also followed the 20s suggestion.  Whatever the case, it fixed my non responsive display problem.  Thanks!
