blue outline on everything i click on

We have Windows 8 now. Ive been trying to figure out how to get rid of the blue box (outline) that shows on everything I click on, and when I type. Its so annoying and when I use some applications and games It is in the way. Can someone please help?

got rid of the blue box by turning off the narrator (cap lock+esc).

It worked for me.

I pressed Cap Lock, and then let go of the button. The cap lock light comes on.

I then press Esc.

The blue outline is gone! Hurray!

Windows Key + Enter will turn it off

Exiting Narrator

There are also different ways to exit Narrator. These are the two shortcuts many people prefer:

On a keyboard, press the Windows logo key +Enter.
On a tablet, press the Windows logo button and Volume Up button together.

i had to press caps lock & esc 3 times nothing will appear until around 5 mins then i tried it worked without indication that the boxes were gone! i hope you find this usful with windows 8!!

1)      What is the make and model of your computer?

2)      Do you remember making any changes to the computer prior to this issue?

3)      Is the issue specific to some applications or all the applications?

4)      Have you updated your graphic card for Windows 8?
