nsi memory leaks fixed yet?

That's interesting. For some reason I don't have Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter. But so far from what I've found for me is having all updates and IE9 installed there is no memory leak issue. It was as soon as I installed IE10 and the prerequisite platform update (KB2670838) that svchost.exe started eating up ram again. It was at 147 MB(147, 776K) after 24 hours.

I've uninstalled IE10 and after 24 hours the svchost.exe is at 13 MB(13, 664K). Which is still slightly odd since normally it stays around 8.5 MB. I'm not sure if it still has a slight memory leak problem or if it will stay there. I'll have to see what it does over the next few days.

I'm wondering if you can install IE11 without installing IE10 and if it has the same issue.

It might be a coincidence at some point , I don't know, before my driver update moves, I tried to restart svchost.exe via Process Explorer without success.

So far so good, the most consuming svchost.exe is not eating beyond 200 MR RAM out of my 8 GB I put instead of 4 GB initially on my work laptop. Hopefully it lasts.

If you uninstall IE10 and all updates, the next time you run MS UPDATE, it will only give you IE11 as an install option.

Also, since I have LEFT ALL IE versions off, leaving FireFox as default browser, Chrome as secondary, with an up time of 9 days, NO NSI MEMORY LEAK ISSUE. Next step will be to install IE11, and see if the leak comes back.

I do not have the WIFI miniport adapter driver either, as my desktop is hardwired to my router, and have NO WIFI card in my desktop, so that driver is a non issue for me.

Will update after a few days of IE11 installed, and advise as to any leak found.

Keep reporting what you find guys, working together, we should eliminate all possibilities, and find the common denominator.

After 50 hours of uptime my svchost.exe is 14, 774K. Still higher than normal, but seems fairly stable. I'll also be trying IE11 and KB2888049 (IE11 network update) soon. I hope this will somehow work, but I'm not holding my breath. I may just use Firefox as my default browser since IE9 is a bit outdated these days.

So, no idea why at this point... IE10 is completely removed from my system, NO other IE version installed, DID happen to do Windows updates, and NOW the damn leak is back. After just 4 hours of uptime, NSI's handles are out of control, and it is eating RAM.

At this point I am lost. 9 days of uptime, and no issues, do the Windows updates, reboot, and the leak is back. Is this related to Windows updates, the update system itself, WHAT?!

Come on MS, help us out here. There are SO many of us experiencing this, collect the information you need from us, help us troubleshoot this. There has been NO movement, or suggestions on this from MS at all.
