nsi memory leaks fixed yet?

Does anyone know if there is a fix for nsi service eating up memory yet?I'm really getting tired of having it eat up to 3 gbs or ram all the time.I have a dump file if the need arises.

    Here is the NSI process after 2 days UP TIME.

    I have Windows Update set to NOTIFY ME when updates are available, NOT DOWNLOAD and NOTIFY, or DOWNLOAD and INSTALL. This way I can assure my system does not reboot while trying to monitor this. Also, this was AFTER installing MS Office, and all it's updates through Windows Update.

    Feel like I am chasing a ghost at this point. My memory usage is minimal, goes up during updates, but settles back around 1.4GB of 8GB available at idle. NO strange spikes, no strange processes draining anything. Granted, this is a whole new computer, SAME OS, and SAME network connection.

    All I can say to those affected... As much as it sucks... TRY a fresh install. That is what I am on with this new build, and no issues so far. Granted, like others, the problem may pop up after 16 days of up time, I will monitor and let you all know. Still have IE 9 active, IE 10 and IE 11 HIDDEN from the update list. ONCE I get 16 days CLEAN, I will update to IE 11.

    Well... I have yet to get 15 days constant uptime... I have an issue upon resume on my new MOBO... Not really an issue per say... but a stuck post code on the debug led.

    Once I can GET 15 days uptime I will be sure to post... SORRY PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY!

    Well hopefully you figure out your motherboard issue. I just ordered a hard drive I plan to use for storage, but I think I'll install a fresh copy of Windows 7 with all the updates and IE 11 and test it for a day or so to see if the svchost.exe memory leak continues on there or not.

    Thanks guys for this thread which I found by coincidence while searching for the cause of a nasty memory leak in netio.sys. My system is a Windows Server 2008 R2 with IE9 and everything worked well until around October 2013. On patchday 15 updates had been installed and while looking for information about memory leaks in one of the updates this Thread popped up. Someone mentioned KB2888049 - unrelated to a fix to the problem, but just exact this update introduced the leak. I have deinstalled KB2888049 and now everything is fine again.
