nsi memory leaks fixed yet?

I gave updating from IE9 to IE11 a try too. With IE9 my svchost.exe is usually around 45 MB after 3 weeks, which isn't too bad. I'm not sure if it's a fluke yet but after 7 days of uptime with IE11 my svchost.exe is at 29 MB. That's a pretty huge improvement considering how high it would get really fast before. I still have 2 new IE11 updates to get, which I'm worried they will make it worse or restarting my computer alone will just make it go back to the way it was.

Nevermind. It seems talking about it reminded it that it's broken. A few hours after I posted this it just started increasing really fast. It was very odd that it increased slowly for 7 days though.

I did an experiment by updating from IE9 to IE11 to see if any patches have fixed the issue.  Right after the upgrade, NSI was consuming memory faster than ever.  I removed the IE11 update backing me down to IE9 again and NSI has been at about 2100 KB for several days.  Anyone hear anything about a patch for this bothersome issue?

I know... been a while. Well I did a long distance move, and have had an interesting time getting a stretch of up time on the PC. Anyway... IT'S BACK. This is again, a NEW PC build, using the SAME OS version (Win 7 Home Prem 64). And NOW, I also have eliminated my D-Link router from the equation, and also the ISP, and 2wire Modem. I am on a different ISP altogether, with a new modem/router from the new ISP, which did not play nice with my D-Link, hence it's removal. I am going to try uninstalling the above mentioned KB and will report back. All seemed fine yet again, until I decided to update to IE11 to shut up Windows update. If I have to do yet another OS reinstall to remedy the situation, and NEVER let IE update, and disable it from the get go, so be it. But REALLY, why is there NO FIX from MS directly. WE ARE NOT ON XP, SUPPORT US.

Doing this helped me.  I was experiencing svchost.exe with this group of services slowly chewing memory.  I uninstalled IE 11, then 10, then 9, then update package KB2888049.

When I first booted, nsi as using 3164kb memory, and after leaving my machine on over night, its sitting at 3152kb now.

Hopefully this is the last of my woes, because I've been trying to figure this out for about 2 months.

MS must have slipped a patch into NSI or IE.  I have been running 9 days and NSI is only up to 2 MB.  Before that, it ran 22 days and peaked around 200 MB and hovered around 120 MB.
