nsi memory leaks fixed yet?

Does anyone know if there is a fix for nsi service eating up memory yet?I'm really getting tired of having it eat up to 3 gbs or ram all the time.I have a dump file if the need arises.

    I'm glad to hear my findings helped. Hopefully Microsoft releases a hotfix, or patch for this particular problem sooner rather than later!

    I was having the same issue (Server 2008 R2) and I tracked it down to the nsi process.  I removed IE 10 as Bill suggested and it fixed my problem.  Thanks Bill for your input here.

    I experience the problem (up to 3.6 GByte used by the nsi service) also with IE11 (Win 7/64).

    @Liam Williamson:

    TeamViewer is not installed on my system, there seems to be another cause.

    I removed the IE10 patch, upgraded from 8 to 9, and left my machine running for 4 days, no NSI memory leak. So it looks like the only way to solve this (currently) is to either upgrade to IE11 (not sure if this bug is present there as well, though) or use IE9, which I can confirm does not seem to have the leak.

    I believe I've found the problem. According to the majority of the forum posts that I've seen, this issue started showing up in Windows 7 SP1 and Server 2008 R2 SP1 systems shortly after Microsoft rolled out IE 10 (Feb 2013). It may not have been IE 10 itself, but rather a later update that is the culprit. 

    In troubleshooting, I uninstalled several updates around that time frame, but the process continued to eat memory. Once I uninstalled IE 10 the problem went away.

    I have since re-installed and uninstalled the update further proving it to be the culprit.

    Hi Bill,

    I tried as you suggested and reinstalled IE10 but I'm still getting the high svchost memory unfortunately :(

    My current theory is that it could be related to my use of the TeamViewer software which I occasionally use from work to connect remotely to my home PC.  I'm trying to establish a pattern.

    I'm curious if anyone else here has it installed and is running it?
