nsi memory leaks fixed yet?

Does anyone know if there is a fix for nsi service eating up memory yet?I'm really getting tired of having it eat up to 3 gbs or ram all the time.I have a dump file if the need arises.

    For those of you experiencing the issue with Internet Explorer, please post your own thread to the correct forum.  It would be helpful if you have logs to add to the thread.

    We've identified the issue as seemingly RELATED to what version of IE someone is running, but it's not an IE problem per se. It's something with the NSI service, which is a windows 7 service...

    I never, _ever_, use IE unless I have to. This leak appears to be caused by the simple presence of IE. That is, you experience it when IE10 is installed, whether or not it is actually running in memory at any given moment. Since IE is kind of part of the O/S as we well know... ;)

    I am aware of that, being that I'm the first person in this thread who shed light on that fact that it was Internet Explorer. Since the nsi.dll and nsisvc.dll files remain unchanged regardless of the version, it is very likely to be caused by how the service interacts with one or several of IE's core components. 

    My suggestion was simply that people should perform a fresh install and leave the system running IE 8 or 9, as I have a feeling that certain components are not rolled back when you bounce from version to version.

    I you haven't already, I would probably give up on trying to run a current IE version, and just start using Chrome or FF- both of which IMO are much better.
