I have just had to reinstall Windows XP Home. In Explorer under Local Disc, there used to be just one Windows folder. I now have two. One is titled Windows. the other Windows 0. Why? Some of the files within them are different.

Afraid that didn't help either, but I have just realised that since re-installing Windows XP, everything I get Microsoft updates, I am faced with other errors so I am beginning to believe that that is where my original problem was. As no one has come up with a solution that works, I have finally given up on Microsoft. I have ordered an Apple iMac ready to get rid of XP.
