Why two Windows Folders in Local Disc?

I have just had to reinstall Windows XP Home. In Explorer under Local Disc, there used to be just one Windows folder. I now have two. One is titled Windows. the other Windows 0. Why? Some of the files within them are different.

2013-02-18T14:19:14+00:00 Afraid that didn't help either, but I have just realised that since re-installing Windows XP, everything I get Microsoft updates, I am faced with other errors so I am beginning to believe that that is where my original problem was. As no one has come up with a solution that works, I have finally given up on Microsoft. I have ordered an Apple iMac ready to get rid of XP. I wish to thank you again Elizabeth for your perseverance and help and to John. best wishes. Brian

looking at the above did not help me as I am not sure what I am looking for, let's wait for John John MVP to look at it. :)
