Hi, I don't know where to start. This is the second time I've been prompted to enter a 'code' that shall grant me access to my email even though I've only ever logged into it from the one address. I'd been forced to enter an email before which I'm sure is where the previous code was sent. What I don't understand is that if this is for my 'security' how was I able to change that email to something else completely - bounce it to a mate in across the globe who happened to be on the phone with me, who gave me the code to enter to access my own bloody email? Why does someone need to have an email to access an email? And how the **** does that work if you have 2 outlook addresses which require a code from the other locked outlook address? All your doing is pushing people to Gmail duh. When outlook prompted me saying "hey enter the code we sent you" What is the use of being able to change the email to anything you want? Is that secure or just 'Microsoft secure'? If I can change the email to whatever I want to get the code that's needed is this so much a security aspect for outlook or just an info grab so you can record peoples alternate email addresses? No, I'm not giving you my phone number, I have less security on my bank accounts and credit cards whose security is impeccable - its hotmail, get over it and let us just have our 'secret question'. agree! it'sb eyond f rustration! i was instructed to get the 25 code from another email and there was no code sent, just i was asked to enter my outlook email, then I got a message done, I cliked done, i was forwarded my my logi n outlook email then I got to my personal information! I closed it, then I went to open my email, i was the same damn question again to go through the damn procedures! that happened today, last month I went through stupid procedure1once i got the code it bacame useless because the activation page closes shortly!s o i had to use two computers so I could leave the activation page open while I got the code from another computer! and they kept changing the code!1 those people have nothing to do but torture us?! Microsoft has nothing better to do but hire some power control fearks?!!!

Ok all I want to do is read my email in my hotmail account I've reset my password and I'm "IN" ... ups but maybe I'm not in????? I can't find a way to get back to my hotmail and read my email? isn't that all I'm trying to do? I'm in an area where I can see all the irrelevant information on me and my microstupid account information with no way out but to click "Sign out" but all I wanted to do was read my email????HELPPPPP ... after 15 minutes worth of research about how to get back to my email and reading my email LIKE I JUST wanted to, no luck... I suppose my complaining about this will make no difference since Microstupid stopped listening to customer feedback in the late 70's Oh and I never realized how stupid it is for an email system to email you their password reset to another of your emails??? I need a chicken to have an egg to have a chicken to get an egg and round and round we go.

I've had the same email for sixteen years (since the internet was a baby). It appears that microsoft is moving to a subscription based service instead of relying on the traditional model of advertising for revenue. Now, even if I follow the instructions for accessing my account, there is no way for me to check my email. Go back to business 101 microsoft: don't annoy the customers. I will likely be switching to another provider, which is probably the result that you want. I will also do my best to never purchase your products again. I realize that this will be difficult given that you have done your best to monopolize everything IT. However, you are effectively creating the demand for an alternative provider, and I am sure someone else will fill the void.

I have not seen anyone from microsoft taking a look at this and replying. Disappointing. Microsoft - Please grow up - What is this stupid code???????
