Can't straighten out my folders...their order is very messed up.

Again, I don’t see how you’ll find this helpful as just the small section I could capture is 13 pages in Word:

You have two users. One called Ceil and one called Mcx1 (you should investigate this one). I presume you are the Ceil. (plus there is the all user account called Public - your logon is a combined your per user profile plus the all user profile, the disabled builtin Administrator account, and the Default account that new accounts are based on - in other locations there will be 4 system accounts)

Anyway what I want to know know are two things.

• How many and where are the desktop folders in your profile?
• Is there a desktop.ini in your user profile folder?

Assuming you are ceil. Type the following

Yes, I am Ceil.  I was concerned about the Mcx1 user but they are not listed under user accounts.  I'm just there as administrator and the Guest account is off.  I did a search but could not find Mcx1 but I've been unable to find things in search that I can find without search so somethings wrong there.

Found out that Mcx1 is okay: This folder is a special folder that is being used by the Windows Media Center whenever you add an extender.
