These three updates are trying to be reinstalled over and over again. Replicable on both PCs
The updates are trying to be install over and over again. Every time I click "check for updates," there it appears again.

Update 1: I have tried restarting the PC. Nothing. I have also tried FixIt when trying to troubleshoot Windows Update errors. Still nothing. The FixIt simply "runs" till the end and then says "finish." It did not offer to fix anything.
Windows 7 X64 SP1 with Norton Internet Security 2013 (version 20).
Update: I found other users having the same problem http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=1252121 (in Dutch I presume). Translated page: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.computerbase.de%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D1252121&act=url
Update 2: Added media coverage of the issue.
Update 3: Add even more threads found via Google.
Update 4: Microsoft has now offered a statement regarding this bug:
“We’ve received reports of some customers experiencing issues when deploying some of September’s Office-related updates. We are investigating this issue and will act accordingly, to help ensure that our customers are protected." -- Dustin Childs, group manager, Microsoft Trustworthy Computing
Microsoft has acknowledge this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2760583/en-us
Known issues with this security update
Update 5: I did not have to do anything on my part (like re-install updates), so it's probably a detection issue on Microsoft's part.

Same here with KB2760411, KB2760588 and KB2760583 circular updates
Problem is they started cluttering the Windows Update history, since they have repeated entries in the log every time they get installed, does this warn about being installed multiple times?
Regards,
K.
I have three .. when I check the update history it says successful . but the update available icon still flashes .. at least I know its not just me
I think its a glitch and ms may in time fix it
Sad thing is Im not very tech savy and any hotfixes will fry me
if I left it alone would it matter ? since the update history says its in
I think there was a similar issue earlier in the year: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-windows_update/why-wont-kb-2647753-install/aa599ea3-0bd9-4118-8e26-20d6ac4596ee
The updates are now "hidden" and thus Microsoft is telling you have no new updates.
I guess my mind is going... Duh! I thought I had done the same thing some time back... guess not.
