Updates trying to install over and over again (KB2760411, KB2760588, and KB2760583)

These three updates are trying to be reinstalled over and over again.  Replicable on both PCs

The updates are trying to be install over and over again.  Every time I click "check for updates," there it appears again.

Update 1: I have tried restarting the PC.  Nothing.  I have also tried FixIt when trying to troubleshoot Windows Update errors.  Still nothing.  The FixIt simply "runs" till the end and then says "finish."  It did not offer to fix anything.

Windows 7 X64 SP1 with Norton Internet Security 2013 (version 20).

Known issues with this security update

  • You may be repeatedly offered this update even though it is already installed. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

Update 5: I did not have to do anything on my part (like re-install updates), so it's probably a detection issue on Microsoft's part.

    It is fixed and I had no need to update any drivers.

    Per Microsoft Security Bulletin Minor Revisions

    Date: Fri, 13 Sep 2013 15:25:04 -0600,  the problems were detection and have been fixed. I unhid the 3 updates that were repeating on my Win 7 Pro notebook, and then ran an update checkk.  Windows updates did detect the updates and no new updates were detected (unless you have not yet installed the latest definitions for MS Security Essentials.

    Microsoft Fixed it. Just tell check for updates and they go away if they have already been installed. This has worked on 3 machines: XP Pro, Vista Ultimate, 7 Ultimate.

    Here's what worked for me.

    I hid the updates and while they were hidden I Checked for updates.  When it was complete I looked at "Restore hidden updates" and they were gone.

    I THOUGHT MINE WAS FIXED BUT ITS NOT ASND ITS NOT RIGHT THEY NEED TO GET IT FIXED THATS WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO

     

    Try updating all drivers individually and when all drivers have been updated to the latest; immediately try checking for new updates, the update offer  message disappears. Seems some of the Microsoft software engineers are not as proficient in their profession and may have missed out on driver updates while offering new updates.
