Update 1: I have tried restarting the PC. Nothing. I have also tried FixIt when trying to troubleshoot Windows Update errors. Still nothing. The FixIt simply "runs" till the end and then says "finish." It did not offer to fix anything.
Windows 7 X64 SP1 with Norton Internet Security 2013 (version 20).
Update: I found other users having the same problem http://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=1252121 (in Dutch I presume). Translated page: http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.computerbase.de%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D1252121&act=url
Update 2: Added media coverage of the issue.
Update 3: Add even more threads found via Google.
Update 4: Microsoft has now offered a statement regarding this bug:
“We’ve received reports of some customers experiencing issues when deploying some of September’s Office-related updates. We are investigating this issue and will act accordingly, to help ensure that our customers are protected." -- Dustin Childs, group manager, Microsoft Trustworthy Computing
Microsoft has acknowledge this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2760583/en-us
Known issues with this security update
Update 5: I did not have to do anything on my part (like re-install updates), so it's probably a detection issue on Microsoft's part.

Every time I run the build in Windows Update, I can see the three updates that your updater told me that I not have installed. THEY ARE INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY!
I'm finding that KB2760411 keeps "successfully" installing over and over again.
Am running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 with Office 2010 SP2 and Comodo Internet Security Premium 6.2
