Updates trying to install over and over again (KB2760411, KB2760588, and KB2760583)

I only took out the offending loopers and then hid them till a fix is  out. I followed the above link to softpedia where there was some report of a microsoft acknowledgment of the issue, at least.   I only have about 8 Office 2007 updates , one being a SP3 and did not have the Access database engine probably because it didnt exist in the 2003 suites i had in my different computers.  it was helpful and worth looking into.  Being offered as a temporary response, I felt secure in giving it a try even though i have a 64bit Professional version of XP office suite with the 2007 compatibility updates i just got automatically via the update program and all will come back regardless , so a I am sure i can not break anything by trying

A litlle drastic!  Uninstall SP, All updates, Access?!

Before messing up people computers with Reg hacks, uninstall of SP, updates, and applications just sit tight, Microsoft will eventually come out with a fix.

First, it's NOT a reg hack.

Second, i was clear about it (in case you haven't read it): This was done on a system which had Office 2010 Professional Plus (32 bit) ONLY - It had some leftovers from office 2007, when it was upgraded to office 2010.

Third, THIS WORKED and i don't have to "hide updates" anymore.

NOT SURE if this works yet, but it is the first acknowledgment and it offers something which is better than nothing, even if it wont work.

KB2760590 is also doing the same thing
