I accidently pressed the offline button in Windows Live Mail and now it says
"You are working offline, do you wan't to connect now" when I try to receive/send emails.
But when I press yes it just repeats the question one more time and then I get an error message saying
"Execution of requested activities is terminated. More information to be found under the error tab", but the error tab is blank.
(NOTE: I have the Swedish version so I'm not sure the texts looks exactly like this in the English version!)
I haven't changed any settings for the email server (which is mail.bdtv.se) and I have tried to restart the computer.
When I go to the email server via a browser (to webmail.bdtv.se) I can send and receive emails, so the problem is probably not there.
To be sure, I have checked all the server settings in the Windows Live Mail configuration and everything looks ok.
But it still doesn't work...
I run Windows 7 with all the latest updates installed.

Go back to a restore point. It's the only solution.
I think it's because of the installation of IE10 in Windows 7 by Windows Update, last tuesday 12th.
I solved this problem by uninstalling this update to IE 10.

Is the "Go offline globe" in a bad place? ... why does it seem everyone keeps accidentally clicking it off?
Also the file option is not viewable on my IE. I wish I could make that bar permanently display/
Here is what I typed on the other thread: I am always accidentally hitting go offline when I am in windows 7 windows mail. Clicking go online a the top of Windows mail does not work. I have to exit out of IE, go back in and press ALT-E and then I see file on the menu bar at the top. Press file and then press go online.
Your solution worked for me after a frustrating 20 minutes trying to get Windows Live back online when I hit the dumb Work Offline button by accident. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this issue! (And thank you to Google for bringing me here when I typed in this question lol)
