Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

I had this problem when I got my computer. I tried the above first, but that failed. Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.

When you reset the motherboard, it may be that the BIOS was no longer set up with "Legacy Boot Sources" enabled for startup as it may have been. That would be a guess as to why the bug seemed to go away.

This is happening to me too. I always turn my computer off when I'm not going to be using it for a while, but when I turn it back on, the clock is always wrong. If I shut if off at 8:12pm, when I turn it on the next morning it will still say 8:12pm.

I have the same problem. Incredibly annoying. After I played around with the time, I must have accidentally removed it from even showing on the bottom right of my screen, so I suppose I have solved it from telling me the wrong time!
