Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

I had this problem when I got my computer. I tried the above first, but that failed. Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.

I tried doing the suggested idea but when I clicked on time.nist.gov, it says 'this operation returned because the timeout period expired'. Don't know what that means. Please help!

1. Do you have a secondary operating system installed on your device?
2. Have you checked if the time settings on BIOS matched the time settings on your device?
