I had this problem when I got my computer. I tried the above first, but that failed. Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.
Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

2013-02-18T11:21:29+00:00 I too have this problem since I installed windows 8 I have reset the clock on a number of occasions but it still goes out of sync. I turned off the internet time update so this is not the cause. I also can't tell what server to use for automatic update for UK time does anyone know the UK server. If I knew it I would try that.

2013-02-08T05:17:40+00:00 When I installed Windows 8 it assumed my Locale was in the UK even though I had specified New Zealand.
Just changing the time is not enough because when the clocks are adjusted for daylight saving it may change yours the wrong way.
From control panel navigate your way to the Region settings, choose the Location tab and make sure you set that to where you actually live.
Then find date and time and make sure that the time zone is the correct one.
I am not sure why there are two different places to set this or which is responsible, but the old adage "never go to sea with two clocks" still applies ;)
