Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

I had this problem when I got my computer.  I tried the above first, but that failed.  Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.

    Well, that doesn't work, it keeps saying error. And maybe you want to explain what the "auto DST option" is? Because it's not anywhere within the panels you said to navigate to. Is there anyway to contact REAL Microsoft support anymore?

    Interesting, but I have Win8 in dual boot with Vista, not with Linux. And I still have the time issue (when I reboot it's ok for a couple of days, than it starts to go wrong, then it can go right again, and so on.

    I also have this problem and Windows 8 Pro 64 bit is the only operating system on my machine. I don't even get a couple of days with it. Within a couple of hours of a restart my time reverts to being a few hours forward of where it should be. I have read this thread completely and none of the suggestions work. It really would be nice to find a solution to this.

    EDIT: I have just noticed that the time changes on every reboot. It moves the clock forward by 8 hours. This is the same as my time zone. UTC+08:00. It's correct in BIOS but on a windows restart it will change the time.

    I am hoping that this new information might give someone an insight into the problem on my machine.

    EDIT2: I have just found out from some mac forums that bootcamp (which I installed today so that I could access all of my new 27" Led Apple Cinema Screen's features) is the culprit. There was no fix for it on the forum so I am still hopeful that some guru will come along and tell me how to fix this problem.

    EDIT3: Solved! I uninstalled the bootcamp software and it left all the drivers there for the display,

    (and everything else) and now when I start windows 8 the time does not reset anymore and I have all the drivers for my display so everything is working well. I uninstalled all the other drivers that bootcamp left in also.
