Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

1.       Since when are you facing the issue?

2.       Do you have any third party security program installed on the computer?

3.       What happens when you try resetting the time?

1. Go to the Start Screen, Right-click to get the "All Apps" icon in the lower right of the screen, and click it.
2. Select "Control Panel"
3. From Control Panel, navigate to "System and Security" >> "Clock, Language, and Region" >> "Date and Time"
4. Click the "Internet Time" tab, and change the server to "time.nist.gov", then click update.
5. Check if the correct time is displayed with the "auto DST option"

Hi,  I start having the same issues.  I have windows 8.1 - Its been 3 days that change the date, not the time.   I change it on the settings, and then changes itself back to a day could first was a day after, today stay on Monday. (so day before).

Since the population of Windows users is so large there could be a number of different causes all resulting in the same symptom.

In my case, I have found the problem to always occur after I boot my system on Linux.  When I boot back on Win 7 the clock is wrong.  I check the real-time clock in the BIOS and it is always correct but still Win 7 displays the wrong time.
