I had this problem when I got my computer. I tried the above first, but that failed. Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.
Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

2017-05-18T13:23:34+00:00 Hi
This problem has been around for ever & Microsoft just don't seem to want to fix it. I use a little utility called Net Time, which I set to run every hour & if it finds the time is out , it resets it correctly. Works OK but is admittedly a bit of a fudge.
Hope this helps you.
