Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

1.       Since when are you facing the issue?

2.       Do you have any third party security program installed on the computer?

3.       What happens when you try resetting the time?

1. Go to the Start Screen, Right-click to get the "All Apps" icon in the lower right of the screen, and click it.
2. Select "Control Panel"
3. From Control Panel, navigate to "System and Security" >> "Clock, Language, and Region" >> "Date and Time"
4. Click the "Internet Time" tab, and change the server to "time.nist.gov", then click update.
5. Check if the correct time is displayed with the "auto DST option"

I have the same problem.  My computer started this when updated to 8.1.  I have Kaspersky on my machine.  I have followed the steps above and after about two hours, the clock stops advancing.  I appreciate any help you can give me.

I recently had this problem on my PC, I realise you can manually change the time but I wanted it to still be synched to the internet so it would update automatically.

One fix for me was to change the server that it was using for the "internet time" to do this I clicked on the clock in the lower right corner of the screen.

Clicked "Change date and time settings"

Clicked the "Internet Time" tab

Click "Change Settings"

Make sure the "Synchronise with an internet server" check box is checked

Then choose a different server from the dropdown box. (I personally chose "time.nist.gov"

Then click "Update Now"

Your clock should change and be correct.
