Clock on windows 8 is wrong time, i tried setting to internet time but its still wrong, think theres a time clock bug, anyone have same problem for windows 8 and know how to fix it?

I had this problem when I got my computer.  I tried the above first, but that failed.  Try clicking on the time in the lower right corner of your screen; a window should pop up and you should be able to set the correct time there.

    OK - here is another problem!   My clock screen time and date are OK, but they appear in French!  All other settings I can find are in English.  Even stranger is that when I go via settings to the lock screen preview, it shows correct time and date in English!  How do I get an English date on the lock screen??

    Having the same trouble with my Asus Vivotab Smart, which shipped with Windows 8. The clock worked perfectly until I upgraded (via Windows Store) to Windows 8.1. I wiped the computer, and restored to factory, and re-upgraded to 8.1 -- same issue.

    No dual boot. It's Windows 8.1 only. I confirmed time zone.

    Interestingly, the problem goes away if fast start is disabled and I shut down every time. With that said, the clock was off by an hour after DST.

    Any solution would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi there,

    I am having a similar issue. I have been having this problem for about a month now. Every time I start up my computer, my clock is wrong. When I update the time, it keeps the correct time until I shut down or close my computer. When I re-open it, the time is the same it was when I shut my computer. The time continues from where it left off, instead of keeping correct time. I have tried all of the obvious solutions, but nothing has worked. Any suggestions?
