Windows 7 - Windows update stuck at 0kb 0%
I have windows 7, and for the past few months I am unable to update windows.
Windows update is stuck at downloading 0kb 0% and after viewing all the similar posts around the web regarding this problem I still cant fix it, even after trying everything (stopping and restarting the service, disabling av and firewall, delete softwaredistribute folder and so on...).
Im desperate, please help.

2016-09-14T01:22:59+00:00 MS has crippled windows update on purpose.
They want all of us to upgrade to 10. Simple.
That way big brother (NSA) can keep an eye on use all with ease.
I'll be going to Linux.
Crap, I sat on my tin foil hat...

2016-09-11T12:19:01+00:00 Hi and THX!!
I've tried out most of everything found on IE with no success.
Starting and stopping the wuaserv, Bits, Crypt - whatever.
Renaming, deleting various Libs.
Finally!!! The progressbar is moving and WOW it's telling me as before on XP
"Downloadning #1, installing #1 and so on.
I know from before that Tuneuputilities 2014 hangs in the middle of a
"cleaning process". By accident I found out that the F-ing Wuaserv was running.
I stopped that and Tuneup finished.
Could it be the same with Windows-update now!!
THIS WAS REALLY GREAT!!! LOve You, even if Y are a MAN.
Best Regards from Sweden
