Microsoft needs to encourage Supercell to bring Clash of Clans to Windows Store

I have never regretted a purchase more than my surface. The app store is not evolving.  no candy crush no clash of clans. And the app store just sucks. I miss Apple. Biggest waste of money. Told clerk I wanted three things... excel, itunes library and candy crush... now I want clash of clans...I got excel.  thanks alot windows!  apparently for $850, not $400 I could have bought the cr or rt or something...but I see u can't get clash of clans on that either.  anyone want a surface?  selling cheap... going back to apple!

Any word on the phones?

I have a 128gb Ipad4 (don't ask the cost U_U) and play but I would enjoy a on-the-go experience.

I have the Nokia 1520, a very large phone with great resolution, a fantastic camera, and updates about every week, tweaks on display and other such general settings.

But sadly the app store is far behind those of Apple and Android. Supercell (the developers of CoC) aren't working on transferring it over to Windows platforms because the cost vs how much they would make seems to be way off.

It has been estimated that 10% of Windows users would need to make in app purchases to make at lease $170,000 in a year. While they make tons of money daily from the already established platforms.

There are petitions set up for this though that will hopefully go through. Its not Windows that doesn't want the game, its Supercell that doesn't see a profit.

Id never touch my iPad again. Smetimes it is just a specific app that keeps people grounded to a system. In my case it's clash of clans although I do own a surface rt. I'd love it and use it evennmore if it had this game.

Since I posted this back in November a few things have changed for me, namely I don't use a surface rt anymore. Instead I've been using a Lenovo Thinkpad tablet 2 and it's been amazing both in terms of battery and performance plus it comes with a Wacom stylus. I lucked out and found one on craigslist for $200 with dock! At the time I bought mine they were going for $500+ for the tablet alone. The only thing I have had a little disappointment with is it's underpowered graphics. The reason I bring this up is because the solution to our problems is very simple, i.e a program called BlueStacks (RT can't run this x86 program). It lets you run android apps on windows tablets, if you haven't heard of it before i'm sure youre excited at this point, but you have to calm down a bit until I tell you the rest of the story. If you have a tablet running intel's Clover Trail atom processors, the one unfortunately found in my thinkpad tablet 2, it wont work due to graphic requirements. There is good news, however, Lenovo is soon to release the Thinkpad tablet 2's successor, the thinkpad tablet 10, which comes equipped with intel's new Bay Trail atom processor which has been confirmed to work with BlueStacks! Of course at this point the SurfacePro 3 is looking rather tempting and probably the one i'll go with as it's as thin as a Surface RT and almost as light! $700 for a 64gb ipad vs $800 for a 64gb ultrabook/tablet replacement, easy enough choice for me.
