how to export pictures from windows 8 computer to flash drive??????

I'm now using windows 8 and need to export pictures from my computer to a flash drive and can not figure out how? I went from XP to windows 8 so everything is new to me. HELP and THANKS

Hi,

Thank you for choosing Windows 8!

I would recommend you to follow the below given steps to transfer pictures from computer to a flash drive.

a. Plug-in the flash drive to the USB port on the computer

b. Select the pictures that you want transfer it to flash drive

c. Right click on the selected pictures and choose send to option

d. From the options, select the plugged-in USB

e. Pictures will be transferred to the flash drive

    Plug in the flash drive to the USB port in your computer.

    Open your file explorer (icon that looks like a manila folder in desktop bar).

    Find the pictures that you are wanting to move to the flash drive, and select them.

    Drag them to the flash drive file listed on the left. Mine is named SDHC Card (D:).

    It will immediately start exporting your selected pictures onto your flash drive.

    After it has completed , click the arrow next to "links" on the right side in the destop bar. This will bring up a box of  icon options. 

    Click the icon with the usb and green question mark to "safely remove hardware and eject media".

    It is now safe to unplug your flashdrive from the usb port.

    None of this works.  I had to purchase the "My computer" ap just to try it.  There is no "send to" option.  When I copy, there is no paste option.  this is very frustrating!
