steps to create hotspot connection in windows8

i want to create a hotspot connection my operating system is windows8 and by creating hotspot connection on my laptop i want to share my internet connection

Hi again,

Just like my first reply. I'm sorry if my first reply was hard to understand. There's more detail steps below:

Step 1: Launch an elevated command prompt under Windows 8 (one with administrator privileges).

Step 2: Run the following command to verify that your network interface supports virtualization:

netsh wlan show drivers

If Hosted network supported says Yes, you’re all set. Otherwise, you need to upgrade your hardware, if the software update doesn’t fix it.

Step 3: Now, set up the ad hoc wireless network using this command. Replace the parts in markup tags with your own choices

netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=<enter_network_name_here> key=<enter_password_here>

Step 4: Until now, your hosted network has been created. Now, you need to start it. Use the command below:

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

Step 5: You’re all set, with just one thing remaining. If it’s not already enabled, you need to allow Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) for your currently-active internet connection. Simply head over to Network & Sharing Center, and in the properties for the current internet connection, enable ICS. Make sure to select the ad hoc connection under Home networking connection.

Now you can connect any device to the internet using the ad hoc wireless network with internet connection sharing that you just created on your Windows 8 PC.

    These instructions work perfectly.  Now, my question is, why do they disappear whenever I restart my computer and how can I make these changes permanent?  Thanks for your time and reply.

    Hi

    The solution is perfect.

    But after restarting windows (I'm using win10) my mobile devices stuck on obtaining the IP address.

    I have tried restarting and the steps again but it didn't work.

    Any idea how to solve it?

    in my adapter>network connections. before i created the hotspot, one of the network connections there is a ethernet and a wifi. i think the reason why its hard to connect on my phone, the WIFI is not connected with a "X" Sign at the bottom when i tried to connect it by right click on the WIFI it doesnt change at all.

    about the created hotspot , at the network and sharing center windows the active networks are "the private network" that has a internet access. and the other is unidentified network or the public network(i think this is the hotspot that i created) that has no internet access., at my local area connect i tried to change its sharing to "allow other users to connect through this computers internet conection" but the wifi ( i think that this is the thing to have an internet to share public) hasnt change it still not connected

    i tried  the both procedure by checking the o allow other userss to connect through this computers internet conection in the ethernet (that you instructed me)  and checking the local area connection sharing tab., but it doesnt change the status in the network and sharing center windows in the public network is still no internet access

    and for my device when i try to conect the hotspot in my android phone it stocks in Obtaining IP address and didnt go any further i even tried to other phones and has the same situation like mine.

    please help me sir about this issue :( before this happens i can still connect to my laptop internet connection but now i cant., please help me :(

    It means your wifi card can't share - buy a new one.
