How do you resize desktop icons in Windows 8?

The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?

I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

hmm, I hold down the Crtl key and use the mouse wheel to resize desktop icons.

Hi

The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.

Right click an empty space on the Desktop.

Select the View option.

You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

    Hi

     

    This thread is about resizing the Icons on the Desktop, not the Start Screen.

     

    The individual apps on the Start Screen are called Tiles, not icons.

     

    The sizing of the individual Tiles on the Start Screen cannot changed by default. The sizing options for these Tiles depend on the type of app.

    I'm afraid AOL Tech appear to be making it up - I'm with g0Bonkers - just hold down CTRL and use the scroll wheel and you can pretty much set the desktop icons to any size you'd like. If you're on a laptop, hold down CTRL and use whatever you normally use to scroll to achieve the same thing.
