Hi,

Now I install Windows 8 Pro and Windows Movie Maker 2012. When I tried to make a video, the preview screen was black and I could only hear the audio (no video).

When in Windows Movie Maker (Windows 8 Pro) I open project file (.wlmp) which have been created by Windows Movie Maker (Windows 7 Ultimate), the preview screen was black and audio also was absent.

Windows 8 Pro Windows Media Player play movie clips from Panasonic SDR-S150 without problems. When I make photo show from Panasonic SDR-S150 photos with Windows Movie Maker (Windows 8 Pro), there aren’t any problems.

In Windows 7 Ultimate I've been using Windows Movie Maker 2012 to make projects from camcorder Panasonic SDR-S150 videos (Movie clips) and then upload them to DVD (Windows DVD Maker). All works OK.

Additional details

In my SkyDrive folder ( *removed for privacy purposes* )  there are 4 files with following information:

-          Txt file – MOV002-MOD MediaInfo – information about video file MOV002.MOD (from program MediaInfo 0.7.61).

On my computer (Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G43 (System model: MS-7758); Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz; Installed physical memory (RAM): 8 GB; System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor) two Operating Systems have been installed: first – Windows 7 Ultimate (Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack1 Build 7601) and second - Windows 8 Pro (Version 6.2.9200 Build 9200).

On both OS Windows Movie Maker Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3905.0912) has been installed*.*

From http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ video driver have been updated. System has been checked by DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag) - in all display tabs has been said – “No problems found”. Intel® HD Graphics: Driver version:  9.17.10.2875.

Please help as I need to fix this as soon as possible!

Thanks,

Andrejs

P.S. Sorry for the long description, I thought it would be best to give as much info as possible.

I found out that MM2012 crashed a lot, even while after restoring to project it crashed again.

Finally after having lots of problems, i've selected al videos when they were finally loaded inside MM and I set the Video stabilization to None and the black screens were gone.

There is the source of all evil I guess :-)

Hope this helps anyone

    Hi Cesar_E

Ok I went to the link above and read about it, not really sure how I know about this 9X thing, My laptop is a year and 5 months old so not too ancient yet.  I did try that update, the kb 2741355 but it said it was already on my system.  I will try to check with the intel site on the status of my driver even though windows tells me it is up to date and will try to figure out different settings for the K Lite drivers but otherwise I think I have exhausted every other option.

I can't see those posts, you removed them so, I DON"T CARE, you closed the ticket as fixed and I complained. You deleted those posts, so I am not going to respond to that at all.

Unless you bring back those posts. They aren't in this thread and I can't see them.

You did not read my post so, whatever. I do not use a different name and if I am required to give you my personal information I need your full name, social security number and date of birth and all your email addresses, after all fair is fair.

Second, I have Directx 11. I have various emulators so, I have an overkill amount of drivers. They seem to work. I even installed some extra codecs. I get emails of this GROWING THREAD and you haven't fixed one problem yet.

I have also been having problems installing Java.

These are not videos, these are IMAGES, I am trying to make a slide show. How long am I going to have to endure your condescending attitude.

I have a Bachelors of Science in information systems and have been on the INTERNET since 1993.

Don't treat me like I am stupid, because you automatically assume I haven't read anything. I have read every message in this thread.

I do not have any videos. I am making a Photo Montage. These are all Gifs and JPG.

If I can't use the two most popular Graphics formats and I have to convert it, I can tell you where to put that software if you like.

So I do not see a Video Stablization setting. I have pictures.

I have Pictures. 我有图片视频 Tengo fotos no vídeos J'ai des photos non vidéos, Tôi có hình ảnh không video,

One of them should be your native language so now you know.
