recently every time i use a program that use my gpu( I have optimus technology so it switch when needed etc...) I get the error message " application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", the internet does not seem to be very helpful about this problem, does anybody know what causes it/how i can fix it ????

Yeah that's true what you said about the updates in early October. I used to run a game and a few programs fine before I upgraded/updated in October. Then I got, "HD Graphics driver has stopped working and now recovered" and now I have this graphics driver access problem.
Its damn annoying and Microsoft need to pull their fingers out.
This problem seems to be with all windows after 7. I have the same on a new gaming pc and with windows 10. At first it started with "the graphics display stopped and recovered successfully" That 2-3 times and then I could enter and play the game (World of Warcraft). I checked internet and following advises, I updated the drivers and for a couple of days I thought I was done with it. But now since last night I can't access the game at all. I get the message "application has been blocked ....etc etc"
What this guy proposed is an option for me. I will go back to win 7. I never had issues like that ever and win 7 is not that much different from 10. Besides I dont mind at all the small difference, if it is not to see ever again this dum message to my NEW PC .... I see that there is no solution found so far and Microsoft asks to get paid to look at it??? I hope this is a wrong info, but I find it ...easy to believe it
If you do go back to Win 7 and there are no more error messages. You must post that on this thread!

The computer that did this to me had Windows 7 on it, then I wiped it and got the same error with a clean install of 8.1, I then upgraded it to 10 and still got it. It's not a Windows thing, or a driver version, it's a hardware problem...

Can you confirm? There have been people with the same problem who have replaced parts and/or bought/build new systems because of this and repeatedly had the same problem. I'm starting to suspect that maybe some sort of software may be the common denominator...bu then again, it wouldn't have happened after I formatted my system if that were the case. Sigh.
