"application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware"

recently every time i use a program that use my gpu( I have optimus technology so it switch when needed etc...) I get the error message " application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", the internet does not seem to be very helpful about this problem, does anybody know what causes it/how i can fix it ????

    I have the same problem but I am using another gpu (Nvidia Geforce GTX 675M) I did not have this problem until my windows 8.1 updated about 2 weeks ago (november 2014) 

    If you find a way to solve this please reply.

    i had this problem and fixed it

    the only way i could fix it by downclock my graphic card

    google how to downclock it ( opposite of overclock )

    How much did you downclock it? I have downclocked mine to 70% and it still does not work :(
