"application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware"

This problem seems to be with all windows after 7. I have the same on a new gaming pc and with windows 10. At first it started with "the graphics display stopped and recovered successfully" That 2-3 times and then I could enter and play the game (World of Warcraft). I checked internet and following advises, I updated the drivers and for a couple of days I thought I was done with it. But now since last night I can't access the game at all. I get the message "application has been blocked ....etc etc"

What this guy proposed is an option for me. I will go back to win 7. I never had issues like that ever and win 7 is not that much different from 10. Besides I dont mind at all the small difference, if it is not to see ever again this dum message to my NEW PC .... I see that there is no solution found so far and Microsoft asks to get paid to look at it??? I hope this is a wrong info, but I find it ...easy to believe it

Yeah that's true what you said about the updates in early October. I used to run a game and a few programs fine before I upgraded/updated in October. Then I got, "HD Graphics driver has stopped working and now recovered" and now I have this graphics driver access problem.

Its damn annoying and Microsoft need to pull their fingers out.

From what I can tell that bug is related to video hw/sw .

     You can download CPUZ GPUZ to keep track of temps while you run your software.

When removing and reinstalling graphics drivers they dont always remove everything, I usually use Driver Sweeper after the manufacturers (Nvidia/AMD)removal tool.

Event 1 just states the NVIDIA opengl driver crashed or didn't start or isn't there to run.

Ready Boot error is nothing to worry about from what I gather, system runs fine, ready Boot is a function of ReadyBoost that speeds up boot times.

From what I can find the GPInstaller error seems to be either corrupt or missing from that software installation, try reinstalling that software, also possible missing/corrupt compatible C++ Redistributable version.

Yes, my system had noticeable issues from the start, however it did not throw up errors until later, why I have no idea, so I wouldn't be so quick to disregard this possibility.

I had dealt with this for 6 years, and this was my fix.

Thanks for your feedback. However, if it was a RAM problem wouldn't have I had this problem from the start? I run music software that is very memory heavy and experience no problems at all. Last night I tried to adjust my screen dimmer - computer crashed and rebooted. I definitely think it is some kind of graphics-OS compatibility issue. 

It seems some people have found fixes but they only seem to work for the person who found the fix and/or only a couple of others who coincidentally had the same issue.

If you completely removed the nvidia driver and OpenGL and some of the hardware tests are failing I am suspecting hware.

Event viewer is showing quite a few nvidia/opengl errors and many others

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000116  This bugcheck is most often related to HEAT

To me it is a cheap thing to try, swap out your RAM, if you have low RAM swap out to a larger amount also.

      I had this problem since Windows 7, I did memory test all seemed good. Windows XP ran fine, Linux OS,s ran fine.

I swapped every piece of hardware, I built another machine from the parts i had pulled from this machine added memory and all was good.

     That is when I knew it was the RAM.  I put the old RAM back in bingo ERROR back again. new ram, bingo ERROR gone.  

     ****, to me if it is the issue, it a cheap easy swap. get on Newegg order some inexpensive motherboard approved Gskill ram and see if it works.    I am betting it does for most.

      I have heard it too many times over the past 6 years, since this appeared, of memory swap being a fix. 

   If you have done everything else give it a try.

Microsoft has messaged me about please giving them any info I find on this subject, and I think it is memory related.
