recently every time i use a program that use my gpu( I have optimus technology so it switch when needed etc...) I get the error message " application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", the internet does not seem to be very helpful about this problem, does anybody know what causes it/how i can fix it ????

I've already looked at the memory question, I'm using about 7% of the total memory available on my machine. That was one of the first things I looked into since it's so easy to check. In fact, that was the reason I replaced my old laptop, it didn't have the memory needed to run my key software for work, Logos.
I added another stick of RAM about 2 months ago and haven't had the problem since. I'm not saying that the two things are directly related...all I'm saying is I haven't seen it happen since I put the additional RAM in.
Might be worth a try...
I'm not running any games either, basically Office programs, and it is the internet search engine which seems to hang up most often, although when it happens it locks up everything for a few minutes. What really drives me nuts is when Word is blocked and then crashes. Since virtually all of my computer time is work related, losing five minutes of effort can be really tough to recreate.
This started when the Windows 10 update was installed on my machine, I was running 8 before, and although I was not a fan, at least it seemed to be working. I have had Microsoft online support try to address this, with no success. I have had the Geek Squad with Best Buy try multiple times, and still no success. So far I have lost well over 10 hours of productive work-time to this problem and trying to get it resolved.
Based on the string of comments associated with this problem, MicroSoft should be addressing this through one of their regular updates.
Indeed, I don't play games but heavily use Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel and Web browsing. I can assure you that I am almost buying an apple computer after a few excel sheets hanging and losing my progress.
MS is ignoring this thinking only gamers are facing it but nope, it was the updates during early October that caused this.
MS do something this is unethical to provide no support at all.... If I wanted to run registry hacks I would have went with a Linux based OS.
Except this error happens randomly, with people who don't even own or play games, it affects, web browsers, office software...it IS a problem with the OS.
