"application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware"

recently every time i use a program that use my gpu( I have optimus technology so it switch when needed etc...) I get the error message " application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware", the internet does not seem to be very helpful about this problem, does anybody know what causes it/how i can fix it ????

    Anyway this is pure MS problem. I am using Surface 3 Pro, Windows 10 and last updates are installed. Do not want install beta driver because I am working with my Surface.

    I can easily reproduce the problem by playing to Pyramid (from Microsoft). Each time I get this boring message and the solitaire.exe stop running.

    Please correct it as soon as possible.

    By the way I have to say to completely remove uac and remove filter admin token. I am admin and my security is better than the one from Microsoft because it is my security and I know what I am doing better than Microsoft can do. Full stop about security setting.

    Like I've mentioned before, this problem is related to too many things, if you have looked at posts all over the net, like I did with my 2 year dilemma, you'll find that people fixed it with a bunch of different random things.

    I agree with you. I cannot find anything definitive from Microsoft on this subject. I posted that it had stopped and wouldn't you know it an hour later it happened again. At least happening once a week instead of several times a day.

    I had the same problem like 3-4 months ago. I've tried so many ways to find a solution and lastly I've updated all the drivers with a update software and bam!! I couldn't see that irritating pop-up so far. I recommend you to update all the drivers with that kind of a software not manually. I.e. "Driver Booster"

    Good advice. . I had updated my drivers but I noticed a new bios update just released. I ran that update and haven't had the problem since.
