I have a Samsung Infuse SGH - I997 cell phone. I have downloaded the software from Samsung with drivers and have installed it on my laptop running Windows 7 SP1. When I connect the phone to the USB port it charges but Windows does not detect the phone to install the device driver. I have tried other USB devices and the ports work for each on I tried except for the cell phone. Is there something I can do so I can download pictures from my cell phone onto my laptop?

2018-04-11T19:28:30+00:00 I have Windows 10 which I'm unfamiliar with and don't have Kies that I'm aware of. I keep running into protection and/or blocking problems with it being so protective it interferes with what I need to do. I am trying to learn and accept it but find myself frustrated. I have plugged by phone Samsung S8 via USB to direct transfer files that Google Drive does/doesn't accept but often I get an error message that file couldn't be opened. I even have both the HP Probook and my S8 paired via bluetooth. What should I do.
