How can I disable or remove password startup on Windows 8? I have no need to password protect my PC and I would like to remove it.

Press the Windows + R keyboard shortcut.

Press the keyboard shortcut.

Then enter control userpasswords2 in Run dialog box and hit enter. uncheck the box named Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer

Apply button to see the Automatically Log On dialog box. Enter your password

and click ok.

    i am new (today to windows 8) i don't know where the windows button  or the short cut keys are, also where is the r  keyboard shortcut

    the key between control and alt. press it with a letter key (r) and, VOODOO!!!
